About the Event
Osceola Arts is proud to present original artworks by Gail Wells and Sharon Falk at Poinciana Library through the Art in Public Places program.
Sharon Falk went to George Washington University for her MFA, where she was working with oil paint. Now, she has experimented with acrylic and watercolor. In this display, she also includes collage.
Gale Wells found her inspiration from the insanity of being a Jr. High teacher and previously, a photographic model. As a self-taught artist, she dives into a vat of paint with abandon, emerging rife with whimsy.
The two artists are a part of the Solivita Artisan Guild, an organization located in Poinciana aimed at fostering artists and their talents by sponsoring exhibitions, workshops, and seminars. Its mission is to enrich the lives of the community through art and emphasize the importance of creativity.
The exhibition is on view at the Poinciana Library (101 N Doverplum Ave) from April 8 to June 10 during library hours.
The Art in Public Places program aims to fill our Osceola County communities with local art in the public libraries and Kissimmee City Hall. If interested in showing work through this program, please apply here.
