About the Event

Osceola Arts is proud to present the artworks of Anthony Ortiz at St. Cloud Library as part of the Art in Public Places Program.

Ortiz is an abstract artist based in Orlando, FL. His work is rooted in intuition, emotional expression, and a desire for human connection. Guided by earth-tone palettes and inspired by the expressive legacy of Robert Motherwell, Richard Diebenkorn, Joan Mitchell, Hans Hofmann, Clyfford Still, Lee Krasner, and Mark Rothko, his  intention is to create art that resonates with viewers on a personal level. Ortiz aims for his paintings to offer space for reflection, healing, and joy—whether enhancing a quiet room or inviting attention within a grand setting.

The exhibition is on view at Veterans Memorial St. Cloud Library (810 13th St.) from March 16 to April 30 during library hours.

The Art in Public Places program aims to fill our Osceola County communities with local art in the public libraries and Kissimmee City Hall. If interested in showing work through this program, please apply at www.osceolaarts.org/art-in-public-places.
