Kissimmee, FL — A vibrant new piece of public art is taking shape in the heart of downtown Kissimmee! Osceola Arts is proud to announce the latest addition to its ARTisNOW Public Murals Project: The Garden Within, a stunning mural by Tampa-based artist Taylor Smith, also known professionally as Dreamweaver.
Located at 219-231 Broadway, the mural is already beginning to transform the south-west facing wall with a breathtaking explosion of purples, pinks, blues, and greens. With her distinctive style blending realism and abstraction, Dreamweaver is creating a visual celebration of growth, transformation, and divine creation. Sweeping wings symbolize freedom and resilience, while luminous flowers represent persistence and renewal — a living, breathing testament to the spirit of the community.
Guided by the inspiring quote, "All beauty begins where the soul dares to grow," Dreamweaver is channeling her expertise in fine art and graphic design into a mural that promises to be a landmark in downtown Kissimmee. Known for her bold use of color and powerful nature-themed murals across Florida, her work reflects a deep connection to the natural world and the strength found within it.
"We're thrilled to welcome Dreamweaver to Kissimmee as she begins transforming this blank wall into a vibrant work of art," said Brian Camacho, Public Arts Coordinator at Osceola Arts. "The community will have the unique opportunity to watch this creative process unfold over the coming days."
As Dreamweaver works on The Garden Within, Osceola Arts continues its commitment through the ARTisNOW Public Murals Project to enrich the local landscape, inspire dialogue, and celebrate the rich, diverse culture of Osceola County.
Community members are invited to stop by 219-231 Broadway, Kissimmee, FL 34741, to witness the mural coming to life. It's a rare opportunity to see a master artist in action and experience firsthand the beauty of public art in progress.
