About the Event

Osceola Arts is proud to present original artworks by Lilia Palanza at Poinciana Library through the Art in Public Places program.

"I am Colombian-American.

My work is born from the place where I live and from the paths that have led me here. I hail from the state of Illinois, but it is Florida that has inspired me to paint with an explosion of color, light, and life.

Although I have a long history in the arts—teaching in schools, leading workshops for adults, and participating in exhibitions—every brushstroke remains an act of love.

The art I create is not merely a technique or a profession; it is the most honest expression of who I am."

The artist is a member of the Solivita Artisan Guild, an organization located in Poinciana aimed at fostering artists and their talents by sponsoring exhibitions, workshops, and seminars. Its mission is to enrich the lives of the community through art and emphasize the importance of creativity.

The exhibition is on view at the Poinciana Library (101 N Doverplum Ave) from June 16 to August 11 during library hours.
