Eric Wise Knight

At this stop of the Osceola Arts ArtisNOW Murals Tour, discover a heartfelt mural by artist Eric Wise Knight inspired by the beauty of the Kissimmee Lakefront and the importance of family. The mural presents a peaceful view of Lakefront Park, complete with the water, lighthouse, natural scenery, and the warm glow of a Florida sunset. Woven throughout the scene are members of Eric’s own family, including his grandchildren playing and enjoying the park together. By placing these personal moments within one of Kissimmee’s most recognizable public spaces, Eric creates an artwork that feels both intimate and connected to the larger community. Created through the Osceola Arts ArtisNOW Program in partnership with the City of Kissimmee, the mural celebrates family, community, and the memories created through shared experiences at the lakefront. Take a closer look: Notice how Eric blends portraiture with the surrounding landscape, turning a familiar Kissimmee setting into a personal family story that reflects the park’s role as a place for connection, recreation, and togetherness.
