About the Event

Osceola Arts Art in Public Places presents Kissimmee artist Emmanuel “Noni” de Guzman at West Osceola Library in Celebration from March 2 - July 31. Guzman’s watercolor paintings feature a variety of subject matter, usually about wildlife, landscapes, portraits, and people's livelihoods, street vendors in particular. He finds the latter very interesting as it brings back memories of his childhood in the Philippines.  “I have always been drawn to realism in my paintings ever since I was little, always trying to learn and understand how light interacts with objects and surfaces of different materials. To this day, I still challenge myself to explore new possibilities and techniques in watercolor and other mediums.
