Time & Location
About the Event
Art in Public Places presents artist Carolyn Davis at the Hart Memorial Central Library in Kissimmee. Ms. Davis is a Florida artist with over 25 years in the area. She studied printmaking and ceramics at the University of Central Florida and exhibits her art in state and national exhibitions. Davis' iconic representations act as stand-ins for historical markers and monuments that commemorate memories, people, places or events. The images themselves are not site-specific but are representative of things seen, sensed and remembered in our lives. Carolyn works out of her studio in St. Cloud and teaches art to children and adults at Osceola Arts. Clay sculptures by Carolyn Davis will be on display at the the Hart Memorial Central Library in Kissimmee from July 12 through September 12. To sign up for clay classes with the artist go to https://www.osceolaarts.org/education.
