Young Actors Company

The Osceola Arts Young Actors Company is open to actors ages 5-17.  Actors will work together to put on a show in their age category.


The categories are

Ages 5-8, Ages 9-12, Ages 13-17


 Participants will learn basic theater techniques, movement and dance and acting skills while fostering creativity, confidence and teamwork. Each session will end in a performance weekend from each age category.

Actors Ages 5-8

Our story takes place in a senior center where all is quiet and calm, until the center director decides to use music and dance to bring fun and excitement into the lives of the seniors. Through songs and dances that were a part of the seniors' past, the director, along with friends and family, encourage the seniors to "get off their rockers" and join in the fun. Great for the beginning actor! Ages 5-8 Rehearsals start August 17th, running Saturdays 9am-10am Show Dates: October 18-20 Tuition: $160


Actors Ages 9-12

Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce Indian tribe, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook. Rehearsals start August 10th, running Saturdays 10:30am-12:30pm Show Dates: November 15-17 Tuition: $200


Ages 9-17

Join our Young Actors Company improv troupe "The Neverland Players". Rehearsals run August-November with 4 performances during our Peter Pan Jr performances Ages 9-17 Tuition: $100 Instructor: Joy Belding Saturdays, 9:30am-10:30am , Starting on September 7th Dress Rehearsal: November 14th at 5:30pm Show Dates: November 15-17


Actors Ages 13-17

The meek floral assistant Seymour stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Seymour as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination! Rehearsals start August 21st, running Wednesdays & Thursdays 6-8:30pm Show Dates: November 21-24 Tuition: $300
