About the Event
Osceola Arts is proud to present the works of Grace Kline at Hart Memorial Library as part of the Art in Public Places Program.
Kline has always had a love of drawing and art. As a child, she would make
paper dolls for each of her teachers, then carefully construct their ensembles.
Any available surface became her canvas–napkins, fabric, even the branch of a
Century plant. She studied at Windermere Art Gallery and received a year of private instruction from a prolific watercolor artist.
Kline participated in various workshops and classes in oil, pastel, and watercolor;
and juried art events. Kline's preferred medium is painting portraits, finding it exciting to sculpt face and form with paint, as the subject comes to life.
This exhibition is on view at Hart Memorial Library (211 E Dakin Ave) from March 8th to May 3rd during library open hours.
The Art in Public Places program aims to fill our Osceola County communities with local art in the public libraries and Kissimmee City Hall. If interested in showing work through this program, please apply at www.osceolaarts.org/art-in-public-places.
