About the Event
Osceola Arts is proud to present original artworks by Carol Rizza at Poinciana Library through the Art in Public Places program.
Carol Rizza is a Kissimmee based artist, and member of the Solivita Artisan Guild, specializing in oil and pastel mediums. Her work focuses on landscapes, often capturing the beauty of florals, dramatic ocean scenes with steep rocky cliffs, tranquil beach settings and sailboats. With a keen eye for detail and a deep connection to nature, her art evokes a sense of peace and wonder. In addition to her landscapes, she takes pride in creating commissioned paintings, capturing the details and realism in her portraits and the essence of pets and people with warmth and precision.
The Solivita Artisan Guild is an organization located in Poinciana aimed at fostering artists and their talents by sponsoring exhibitions, workshops, and seminars. Its mission is to enrich the lives of the community through art and emphasize the importance of creativity.
The exhibition is on view at the Poinciana Library (101 N Doverplum Ave) from February 11 to April 3rd during library hours.
The Art in Public Places program aims to fill our Osceola County communities with local art in the public libraries and Kissimmee City Hall. If interested in showing work through this program, please apply here.
