About the Event
Osceola Arts - Art in Public Places at Buenaventura Library in Kissimmee presents local artist Josh Hayes. Originally from Yonkers, New York, Hayes moved to Kissimmee at a young age with his grandmother and it’s been home ever since. “By painting, I learn. There is a sense of freedom and hope when I create. Each painting helps me value myself, others, and who we all are as creators. My paintings are a place of peace of mind for me. I call each one of them "a peace” for that reason. My connection to each “peace” results in energy, joy, excitement, hope, and a sense of healing. One of my hopes is that viewers of my art experience that solace as they view my work,” says Hayes. Works by Josh Hayes on display at Buenaventura Library from October 1 through November 30.
