About the Event

Osceola Arts- Art in Public Places at the Hart Memorial Library in Kissimmee presents Orlando-based artist Patricia Jimenez better known as Trish.

Trish is a native of Santa Fe, New Mexico, is of Mexican and Indigenous ancestry, and is inspired artistically by her heritage and familial culture. Her focus on gemology inspires her jewelry design by using gem properties and colors as a form of healing arts. She draws on this knowledge to create artworks that connect to her inner spirit, finding the beauty in everything that is hidden.  Her current work is an exploration of her indigenous roots, self-revelation, and death. Trish is using canvas, acrylics, animal skulls, and gemstones to create works that are introspective, encouraging a deeper connection with the inner self.

Works by Trish Jimenez on display at the Hart Memorial Central Library in Kissimmee from December 5 through February 8. For more information contact Tre@osceolaarts.org.
