About the Event

Justin "SKIP"  Skipper is an Orlando-based artist who has been working professionally in the arts for over 12 years with roots in graphic design and illustration, he uses a wide number of artistic styles and mediums to bring his designs to life on both public walls and canvas. Over the years, SKIP has become known for his ability to design and execute large-scale public art projects, whether with local city governments, parks, and recreation departments, local businesses, etc. SKIP has also worked for local Orlando arts organizations Downtown Arts District to curate events and exhibits at CityArts, and to offer his services to repair vandalized public artwork on their behalf. In addition, he also works closely with Orlando's Sam Flax Arts Store as an art teacher, and in co-producing the 2019 Sam Flax Wall Project Mural Festival, which is an event that creates public art opportunities for both experienced and first-time artists in the Central Florida area.  SKIP will be painting his mural at the Hart Memorial Library in downtown Kissimmee starting on June 20.
