About the Event

Osceola Arts - Art in Public Places presents Orlando artist Tana Rey @tana.hanberry at Poinciana Library in Osceola County. In Rey’s exhibition titled “Spoken Spirit”, the artist shares how she is self-guided by words of wisdom from three masterful Artists: Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh, and Keith Haring. Each canvas begins with a written quote by the Artist, which includes a painted abstract composition that harnesses the message from the Artist's words. Every quote speaks of how each Artist grapples with their struggle with the human experience and with finding the bravery to pursue their creative instinct.  In 2022 Rey was accepted into the Crealdé School of Art Fellowship Program. She is the founding member of the City Light Art  Collective.  Works by Tana Rey on display at Poinciana Library from April 30 through June 30. IG@tanareystudio
