About the Event
Osceola Arts - Art in Public Places presents local artist Renée Elizabeth. Born on the beautiful island of Jamaica, some of Renée Elizabeth's fondest memories are spending Sundays at the beach in Portland with her mother Janice. Her love of her strong Caribbean heritage and it's natural beauty is often reflected in her artwork. 'Vibrant - The Ones You Remember' is a collection celebrating the rich and memorable colors that can be found throughout the Southeast Coast of the United States and the Western Caribbean color palletes that influence their architecture, fashion and interior design. Highlighting robust greens that invoke memories of dense tropical rainforests to the more symbolic haint blue that is used throughout the Southeast; specifically the low country of South Carolina and Coastal Georgia. Artworks created by Renée Elizabeth on display at the Hart Memorial Library in Kissimmee from April 13 through June 13. For more information contact Tre@osceolaarts.org.
