  • Exhibition Dates: June 1st through August 3rd
  • Opening Reception: Saturday, June 15, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Free and open to the public)

Event Description: Pintura Groove is an exciting celebration of graffiti and urban art, showcasing the vibrant stories expressed through various mediums such as canvas, photography, sculpture, and digital media. This exhibition features works by the B-Side artists of Orlando, including G. Lemus, Swamburger, NeoSoe, Palin Jackson, Tr3, Tobar, Chez Piece, JB, Peter Van Flores III, and more.

Historical Context: The exhibit honors the Orlando Pintura Project of 2008, originally organized by ES and Staz. "Pintura," meaning "paint" in many Latin-based languages, symbolizes a universal message of artistic expression. The project included revolutionary artists from the 1970s New York City subway art movement and contemporary pioneers from across the globe, representing countries such as China, France, Germany, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and various parts of the United States.
