About the Event

Osceola Arts Art in Public Places at Kissimmee City Hall, City of Kissimmee Government presents “Identity.”  On display from January 11th through February 29th.

Nationality, knowledge of self, and being indigenous to all lands are our "identities." This exhibition has been constructed from each artist’s ancestral lineage through various mediums of art. Experience over fifty works of art through the eyes of Central Florida artists Ache, Grey Sturgill, Kiaunti Ny’Khol, Kierra Branker, Moliere Dimanche, Renee Elizabeth, Segun Akeredolu, Tr3, and Wise Knight. Celebrate and observe their American, Caribbean, and African ancestry on all five floors inside Kissimmee’s City Hall. The “Identity” exhibition is curated by Tre Harris, an arts promoter and arts advocate for many creatives in Florida.

Art in public places Is the extended arm of Osceola Arts. The program partners with local businesses and government agencies to present art to the Osceola County communities. Works created by local artists are on display at the Hart Memorial Library, Buenaventura Lakes Library, West Osceola Library, Veteran's Memorial St. Cloud Library, and Kissimmee City Hall.

Kissimmee City Hall also provides municipal services, public records, government offices, and more for residents of Kissimmee.
