Essential Uncertainty is an exhibition of two series of recent paintings by Orlando artist Diane Stapleton @dianestapletonart

The smaller body of work, String Theory, grew out of the larger Road Work Series. Both express the theme that most of the things we rely on are vulnerable not only to time but to the natural order of things — from young becoming old, and new wearing out — all things are subject to transformation and, perhaps, renewal.

The paintings featured in Essential Uncertainty speak to the necessity of our hopes and dreams and signal a call to action to make them come true.
