Art by John and Zoi Hunter at Buenaventura Lakes Library in Kissimmee

Osceola Arts - Art in Public Places presents Local artists John and Zoi Hunter. John and Zoi are both originally from Kansas City where their artistic journeys began. In his youth, John fed his creativity by painting portraits of family and friends. Today he experiments with acrylics and watercolors on canvas using abstract techniques, textures, and shapes that prove therapeutic in his journey to healing his inner and outward struggles with depression. John cultivated his daughter Zoi's interest in the arts by providing art supplies and creative expression at an early age while being homeschooled. Zoi's paintings have been displayed at Orange County Libraries and local businesses. She presently teaches homeschool art classes to 5th -9th-grade students.
