Alejandro Estrada Patiño at Veterans Memorial St. Cloud Library

Osceola Arts Art in Public Places presents artist Alejandro Estrada Patiño at Veterans Memorial St. Cloud Library from November 2 through December 30. Estrada Patiño is a regionally exhibiting artist and art educator in Central Florida. He is currently pursuing a degree in studio art with a painting specialization from the University of Central Florida. His artwork deals with the identity found within objects, using still lifes, image fields, and genre paintings to express the concepts of choice, trauma, privilege, and pride. "The spaces we inhabit, the possessions we come to cherish, and even what we choose to wear, these are all factors that reflect our identity and personal history." Estrada Patiño explores the ideas of choice and identity through what objects people interact with, either willingly or not. For more information contact marilyn@osceolaarts.org.
