2nd Grade Field Trip Program
The 2nd Grade Arts Experience is an interactive approach to immerse students in the arts. In merely an hour the students will perform a production, be an audience member, and visit an art gallery filled with local artists. The short play entitled Morning at the Art Museum introduces the students to every aspect of a theatre production. From lights and sound to acting and costuming, the students do it all with the guidance of a highly trained staff. Experiencing and having the opportunity to appreciate art is the goal of this program.
Middle School After School Arts & Literacy Program
The Arts After School Program brings the arts to you! In middle schools across Osceola County students work with a director to bring a book from the page to the stage. This reader’s theatre intensive semester consists of playwriting, improvisation, group discussions, character development, scene work and technical theatre elements. With a final showcase at Osceola Arts, this program introduces students to the wonders of live theater while improving their public speaking skills, confidence and reading levels.
